Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar is a residential boys’ senior secondary school for classes VI to XII.
It is one of the oldest institutes of the Ramakrishna Mission and administered by the monks of the Ramakrishna Order, under the direct control and guidance of the Headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission at Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal.
Although Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission are legally and financially separate, they are closely interrelated in several ways and are regarded as twin organizations.
The motto of the twin organizations is ATMANO MOKSHARTHAM JAGAD HITAYA CHA, “For one’s own salvation and for the welfare of the world”. It was formulated by Swami Vivekananda.

The academic session for classes VI-X begins in April. Boys newly admitted to class XI join Vidyapith in the month of June.

Ramakrishna Mission Deoghar Fee Structure

Vidyapith also awards Scholarships and Stipend of more than 4 lakhs to deserving and needy students.
For availing of a stipend, guardians have to apply in writing, along with the income certificate (of guardian) on or before Summer Vacation.

Ramakrishna Mission Deoghar Admission Process
Admission to its Secondary section is restricted to standard VI only. However, a few students from other schools are also admitted to class XI, in case the seats are available for them after giving entry to its own students who do well in the class X Board examination.
The school offers education in the science stream only in its Senior Secondary Section. The boys are taken in it entirely on merit ascertained by dint of written, oral and other tests.

RK Mission Deoghar Class XI Admission Procedure
The students from Deoghar Vidyapith are usually given first preference for admission to the Senior Secondary course, provided that they fulfill the criteria determined by the authority of the Institution.
They are only given provisional admission on the basis of their results of the Pre-Board and other examinations in class X.
