The temple and district administration offer the Sheeghra Darshanam facility at a nominal price to the Shiva devotees who do not want to wait for hours in queue for darshan and Jalabhishek.
Although the Babdham temple is crowded with Shiva devotees throughout the year, but on special occasions like Savan mela, Shivaratri, 1st January, and other festive occasions, the intensity increases and you can see lakhs of saffron-clad pilgrims in the temple premises queued up in the corridor waiting for darshan for hours.

Sheeghra Darshan card is issued to the devotees on a paid basis. This card will give you privileged access to the Baba Baidyanath Mandir Garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) out of turn, unlike common pilgrims who must queue up for miles and wait for hours.
A new system of sheeghra darshanam smart card is being implemented. There are 8 entry points that have been made in the administrative building of the temple, in which a smart card with a barcode will be given to the devotees. By punching the card, devotees can take advantage of the quick darshanam and enter the sanctum sanctorum through the foot-over bridge in a few minutes.
In view of the security during the Shravani fair, Shighradarshanam smart cards will be issued in different colors every day. It will be issued in five colors namely- Blue, Purple, Sky Blue, Green, and Saffron. No one other than the temple administrator will know what color card will be on which day. The cards should be used on the same day it purchased. The next day, the card will be void and no tempering will be accepted.

On normal days, the price of the Shigradarshanam coupon is Rs. 250, but during special occasions (like Shravani Mela, Shivaratri, etc.) its cost increases, and you need to pay Rs. 500 to avail of Sheeghra Darshanam service. (VIP Pass)
The devotees taking this card will enter the temple sanctum through the administrative building, unlike normal devotees who queue up through the Kanwaria route. It would take you 20 to 30 minutes (based on the crowd) to complete your darshan and Jalabhishek.

Seeghra Dahrashan ticket can be purchased from the temple administrative office. The booking counter opens at 6 AM and closes at 6 PM.
