Baidyanath temple is said to have been rebuilt in 1596 by Raja Puran Mal, an ancestor of the Maharaja of Giddhour. There are 22 temples in the temple complex, along with the Baba mandir at the center of the temple premise.

The architecture of the Naulakha temple looks like that of the Belur Math (Ramakrishna Mission’s Headquarters) in Kolkata. #3. Trikut Parvat Ropeway

#9. Mayurakshi River | Massanjore Dam

Mayurakshi River originated from Trikut Hill in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is one of the best tourist places in Deoghar.

Massanjore dam, across the Mayurakshi River, is in the Dumka district of Jharkhand State. Built with Canadian aid, it is also called Canada Dam or Pearson Dam. It was commissioned in 1956.

This is located at a distance of 31 km from the Dumka district. This dam is spread over 16650 acres, its height is 155 feet and length is 2170 feet, it has a total of 30 gates.

There are lush green hills and forests around the Masanjor Dam and there is a park near the dam which attracts tourists. You can also enjoy boating here. This dam is the best picnic spot for the locals and people of nearby cities. It is a very pleasant experience to see the sunset from this dam.
